Operations Manager

The Senior Program Manager owns program strategy and outcomes. The Operations Manager and Partnerships & Program Activation Manager own execution infrastructure and partner activation.

Role Overview

The Operations Manager owns the internal systems, processes, and infrastructure that allow RIDC’s programs, partnerships, and leadership to operate smoothly and scale sustainably. This role ensures clarity, consistency, and follow-through across operations, governance, and internal coordination, allowing program leaders to focus on impact and delivery.

This is a systems-oriented role for someone who brings order to complexity, anticipates operational needs, and supports the implementation of structures defined by leadership.

Core Responsibilities

Operations & Systems Ownership

  • Maintain and support RIDC’s operational systems, including project management tools, internal workflows, and documentation infrastructure

  • Develop SOPs, templates, and operational documentation that support consistent organizational practice

  • Prepare and maintain internal reports, dashboards, and project timelines to support planning, decision-making, and accountability

  • Support internal planning calendars, documentation hubs, and shared drives to ensure information is organized, accessible, and up to date

  • Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring access, documentation, and role clarity are in place

CRM, Data & List Management

  • Maintain the structure, hygiene, and governance standards of RIDC’s CRM and centralized talent database

  • Apply and uphold standards for data entry, list segmentation, permissions, and reporting

  • Support basic reporting and data pulls for leadership, board materials, and partner updates

Financial Operations & Administrative Support

  • Support payments, reimbursements, and vendor coordination in partnership with the ED and finance team

  • Assist in maintaining organized financial and operational records

  • Flag risks, timing issues, or inconsistencies early

Governance Support

  • Support Board operations quarterly, including calendars, meeting logistics, agendas, and materials

  • Help protect the Executive Director’s focus by tracking operational follow-through and supporting prioritization 

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience supporting operations, project management, or organizational administration 

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working within established systems and processes

  • Experience maintaining and using CRMs, project management tools (e.g., Asana), and Google Workspace for tracking, coordination, and reporting

  • Comfort supporting budget tracking, reimbursements, and financial processes in coordination with leadership and finance partners

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to keep multiple stakeholders informed and aligned

  • Proactive, dependable, and comfortable executing across teams and managing follow-through

  • Ability to travel domestically on a quarterly basis
