Meet The 25 RIDC Scholarship Recipients For The Running Event 2023

We are looking forward to #TRE23 at the end of November, and we’re excited to be bringing 25 BIPOC running industry retail owners and employees with us! Thanks to support from TRE and On.

Our team is excited to continue our support of the RIDC’s mission by offering scholarships to The Running Event 2023.

These scholarships offer recipients complimentary access to the full educational program, exhibit hall, networking events, as well as three-nights at our host hotel.

These scholarships not only grow BIPOC representation at TRE but are integral to our overarching goal of creating an inclusive space for everyone within the running industry.
— Christina Henderson, Executive Director of TRE

Meet the scholarship recipients and read what they’re looking forward to in the gallery below:

We recognize that our industry has the opportunity to increase representation across brands, retailers, and our broader communities. We have the responsibility and privilege to take action on this. On is thrilled to partner with the Running Industry Diversity Coalition for a second year to provide scholarships to Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color working in retail to attend TRE and ensure equity and inclusion continue to be at the forefront.
— Sahra Kaboli-Nejad, Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Impact at On
