Movement For All Vendor Spotlight: Coached by Mireille
Movement For All, powered by On, is about more than movement. It’s about creating access, building community, and connecting participants with people and resources that can support them throughout their journey. We’re proud to partner with vendors who bring their own expertise, passion, and care to the program.
In this Vendor Spotlight, we’re introducing you to Mireille Siné, MPH of Coached by Mireille. Get to know her, learn more about the work behind Coached by Mireille, and discover why we’re excited to have her as part of the Movement For All community.
RIDC: How did you get started in the movement space? What motivated you to start your career in this industry?
Mireille: My path into the movement space was equal parts personal and professional. I've been a runner for most of my adult life — marathons, ultras, long miles that taught me as much about myself as they did about endurance. But my lupus diagnosis really clarified why this work matters.
Getting sick forced me to completely reimagine my relationship with movement. When I came out the other side, I realized there was almost no one in the coaching space who understood what it meant to train a body managing an autoimmune condition. No frameworks. No guidance. Just generic advice that didn't account for flares, fatigue, or the unpredictability of chronic illness.
I started Coached by Mireille because I needed that coach, and she didn't exist yet. So I became her.
RIDC: How do you view your role in the movement industry? What goals do you have for those who work with you?
Mireille: I see myself as a bridge. Between the running world and the chronic illness community. Between rigorous coaching methodology and the lived reality of training in a body that doesn't always cooperate. Between the athlete someone used to be and the athlete they can still become.
My goal for every person I work with is the same: that they finish our time together with a deeper understanding of their body, more confidence in their ability to keep moving, and a sustainable relationship with training that outlasts whatever season they're in right now. I want them to stop thinking of their diagnosis as the obstacle and start seeing it as information—something to train with, not against.
RIDC: What has being part of our Movement For All program meant to your business?
Mireille: Being selected as a vendor coach for the Movement For All program has meant something I think about a lot in this work—access. Not everyone who needs quality coaching can afford it without support, and being part of a program that removes that barrier is deeply aligned with why I started this business in the first place.
It has also been a meaningful signal of credibility. Being chosen as a trusted resource within the RIDC community has opened doors to athletes I may not have reached otherwise and reinforced that the work I'm doing—coaching at the intersection of movement and chronic illness—is not only needed but recognized as legitimate and valuable.
More than anything, it has connected me to a community of people who understand that movement is not a luxury. It is medicine. And everyone deserves access to it.
