The RIDC is so excited to be at this year’s The Running Event (TRE) - North America’s premier run and outdoor specialty retail conference and trade show. Our presence at TRE has grown over the years, and this year marks a powerful milestone as we celebrate five years of the Running Industry Diversity Coalition (RIDC).

Since 2020, the RIDC has built strong relationships, launched transformative grants and mentorship programs, and introduced educational offerings that fill critical gaps across the industry to help move the culture forward. Our impact now reaches beyond our early footprint, shaping how the sport and business of running approach inclusion, representation, accountability, and growth.

  • RIDC Deep Dive: The Future of Run Specialty: Relevance, Representation & Consumer Loyalty through the RIDC Lens

  • RIDC CommUnity Run, powered by Saucony

    Saucony and RIDC invite you to join us for a special community run/walk! Whether you're in town for TRE or part of the local running scene, start your day with movement, connection, and giveaways along the San Antonio River Walk. Our other partners will be there with fun and giveaways, too. Experience San Antonio at its most peaceful and inspiring, while connecting with local running groups and industry leaders from across the country. Registration is open!

  • THE COOKOUT

    Location: The RIDC House @ Skyline

    The event of the year is coming back to TRE! THE COOKOUT is our time to celebrate our differences and recognize the power of our collective work to make the running space better for everyone. Come for the good food, stay for the music, networking, and vibes. Every moment supports the RIDC’s mission to make the running space better for everyone. Registration is open! Introducing The RIDC House!

The RIDC is proud to host our first-ever RIDC House at TRE — a dedicated space for connection, creativity, and celebration. Open in the afternoon on Wednesday, December 3rd. Leading up to THE COOKOUT, the RIDC House will showcase our programs and partnerships from the past five years through immersive storytelling. Open to both TRE attendees and the San Antonio Community, welcoming all to experience the impact of our work and join in the celebration.
